You can customize various options from the Appearance>Lightbox admin menu or from the settings option under the plugin. The plugin automatically activates links without needing you to manually code anything. Automatic resizing of the lightbox to fit the window is also an interesting feature.

With this plugin, you can customize the lightbox according to the theme you are using. Simple Lightbox includes mobile-optimized responsive lightbox themes. The plugin also provides lightbox animations. WordPress image attachment links are supported. The links in widgets are also supported.
