If you have no preference for the use of plugins to make this integration, I suggest to you to insert the Google Analytics code in the header.php theme file that is used in your project.
This can be done via the admin panel (Appearance> Editor) or by FTP access / SSH of your project. (Note: remember to save a copy of the file if you need to go back to the previous version).
